At 15:00 on 12th September, the 21st China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China 2015) had a successful conclusion. In face of heated competition, Furniture China 2015 still achieved great success. The total no. of visits in four days broke the record, reached 101,888 from 163 countries & regions. During the four-day exhibition (9th – 12th September), the exhibitors received great orders and the variety of activities attracted a large number of visitors, making Furniture China become the annual prioritized platform for professional personages to explore the development and the future of furniture industry.

This year, with the quality-upgrading of both onsite venue and Shanghai Home Design Week, the organizer brought all the exhibitors and visitors a design feast of Furniture and Interior and a wonderful visiting experience. There were around 2,500 qualified domestic and overseas furniture enterprises participated and displayed their latest products, design and technology at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC), including 9 country pavilions (France, Belgium, Spain, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, Turkey and Australia). And over 500 enterprises, concept stores and designer studios participated in Shanghai Home Design Week, the most important concurrent event during Furniture China, providing a series of splendid activities, exhibitions, boutiques etc.

There are 48 exhibitors this year joining the proud rank of “Ten-year Exhibitor”, awarded the ‘Ten-year Loyalty Exhibitor Prize’ given by the organizer of Furniture China. According to related statistics, the exhibition began to award ‘Ten-year Loyalty Exhibitor Prize’ since 2010, up to now, 251 enterprises have been awarded this prize.

Furniture China is huge in exhibition scale. However, due to the limitation of the spot, the organizer has to expand the area on the current basis. This year, the joint design exhibition “That’ Mine” is held in Hall E8B. Although this hall is used for the first time, yet it is still popular due to the profound foundation of Design of Designers (DOD) in these four years. A great number of visitors came especially to visit it. Its influence in design field is growing obvious.

As one of the most important platforms for global furniture trade, Furniture China also carries the task of sharing and discussion the opinions on the industry development. 4 important conferences were held at Himalaya – Daguan Theatre on 10th and 11th September,: the 1st “Asian Furniture Development Forum”, “China Furniture Industrial Clusters Conference”, “China O2O Conference” and “China Furniture & Household Design Conference”, which gathered around 1,000 audiences in total who took this as the chance to know more and deeper about the industry status and design trends of Chinese and Asian furniture market. Meanwhile, 8 design forums at Hall E8B attracted almost 2,000 audiences during the entire exhibition.

Next Edition of FURNITURE CHINA:
In 2016, the 22nd China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China 2016 will still be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) and Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) in Pudong. The organizer will keep going and innovating so as to provide exhibitors and professional visitors with more and better business opportunities together with high-quality services.
